Centre of Excellence for South Yorkshire

Well done to one of our Trust schools, Whiston J&I who have been accepted as a Centre of Excellence for South Yorkshire for Sports Engagement.

Charlotte Ellis, PE and Sports School Development Officer who visited the school commented;

It is fantastic that as a school you have managed to set something like this up. I believe that the planning and execution of the groupings could be replicated in any situation. The most important part of this for me was the inclusivity for all children to have the chance to compete but also the students choosing to take part.

It is a fantastic achievementt for the whole team at Whiston J&I and recognition of the investment they have made developing their Sports provision.
