Working is continuing to progress as planned at Kilnhurst. The site has now been cleaned and sanitised which makes it safe for contractors to be on site.
Next weeks planned works are to clean the drains, more of the hidden damage, making sure that the silt and contaminants are properly removed.
Contractors have been appointed to carry out the necessary work and will be on-site doing preparatory work from Monday. The ‘drying out’ process will begin w/b 6th January.
The staff of both schools have continued to show incredible resilience and have made sure that there is no disruption to the usual workings of both schools. We also continue to be grateful to all staff at Swinton Brookfield who have made our Year 1, 2 and 3 children so welcome.
