Wickersley Northfield Primary School UKS2 Eco Warriors are Climate Champions 2020!
UKS2 Eco Warriors, with the help of Eco Leader Miss Sinclair, entered the Environment Agency competition for UKS2 primary and secondary schools. Wickersley Northfield were one of five schools (and the only primary shortlisted) invited to attend The Big Bang Fair to compete for Climate Champions 2020.
Unfortunately, due to Covid-19, the Fair was cancelled. In its place the organisers asked finalists to submit a video showcasing their environmental work which you can watch below. We are delighted to announce that Wickersley Northfield won!
We are immensely proud of the Eco Warriors’ work and they now look forward to hosting a Royal Institution Science in Schools Day at school.
