It seems such a long time ago since the devastating flooding in November 2019 which badly affected Kilnhurst Primary School. The school has now reopened fully and we are really proud of the reinstatement works. A huge thank you must go to our Trust Building Surveyor Dave Fitzgibbons who has been overseeing the works and I’m sure has had a few sleepless nights! A big thanks also to the staff and pupils at Swinton Fitzwilliam Primary for being so accommodating and welcoming by sharing their school with the staff and pupils of Kilnhurst.
We have put together a short video of the school now and I’m sure you’ll agree that it looks absolutely fantastic. We can’t quite believe how it looks now when you look at the pictures below taken just after the flood!
Once again thank you to everyone involved in making this happen!
