Grade: Band B / SCP 3 (£22,737 per annum pro-rata) or £11.79 per hour).

Hours: 10 hours per week, term time only + 2 insets days with additional hours as required.

Working Day: Monday – Friday: 15:00 – 17:00.

Appointment:  Permanent – Part-time.

A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for an Academy Cleaner to join Wentworth COFE Primary School, which is part of the White Woods Primary Academy Trust and based in Wentworth, Rotherham.

Our Academy Cleaners plays a key role at the school working closely with the Academy Caretaker and Headteacher to ensure the safe and smooth operation of the school building by providing an efficient and effective cleaning service.

To achieve this you will have a flexible and enthusiastic approach to your work and have responsibility for your own dedicated area of school but also an overall responsibility for the general cleanliness throughout school.

Applicants must:

  • Have knowledge of the duties of a cleaner is a large premises cleaning within a school setting.
  • Have a positive attitude and a desire to work as a member of a team.
  • Be able to work with minimal supervision to a high standard.
  • Be able to show initiative in identifying tasks that require attention.
